I have these little white maggoty things on my glass, they're about 1mm in length. what are they?

1mm? do you mean 1cm?
are they white/opaque and move like catterplliers?
If so they are planetia and are totally harmless,
you fish will eat them soon enough.

They are planaria.

nothing to worry about, they are usually a sign of overfeeding. Try cutting back on the food and your fish should get rid of the ones already there.
