Just noticed these the other day and was quite appalled. I'm guessing they're something to do with apple snails since they're the only addition to the tank in about a year.
Do they hatch or something? Do they jump out and hug your face?
Urgh. Not impressed.

Yes they're apple snail eggs. The baby snails hatch and drop into the water. If you don't want any babies just remove the eggs and chuck them in the bin.
