Hi Amanda!!! I don't know what you have but I stil need to get that tank for you! Good news is I have more accessories I can include now... heater, glass lids, and driftwood. I'm sorry about not contacting sooner ; I start yet another new job on Monday --- contract work was killing me.
Cool. When you know what all you have and how much you want for them let me know. What kind of wood is it? Can you send me a pic? I am desperate to find some that is branchy.
So far the best I understand, telling the C. longipinnus and the C. palaetus apart is akin to telling the C. julii from the C. triliniatus. I may not have the trili's name just right. haha! And I am lazy for now and not looking it up
BTW, the serendipitous tank I got is a 20 long. I am chuffed!
Oh! Yeah!! Cute fellow!.
Some of mine have long dorsals, too. And I know where they came from. That Mama in my thread! LOL
HI MATE
DON'T QUOTE ME BUT IVE ALWAYS FOUND C.PALEATUS IS ALOT SHORTER IN THE BODY, GENERALLY WITH A MORE SCATTERED AND PEPPERED BLUE/GREEN PIGMENTATION THAN LONGAPILLIS. SOMETIMES THE ACTUAL MOUTH OR SNOUT IS MORE PROTRUDED WHEN NEAR FULLY SIZED.
HOPE THIS HELPS
