Just sitting here wondering idly how old my peppered corys would be by now. I bought them 2 years ago, and they were fully grown then, or just about. Would they have been a year? more?

You say fully grown, what sizes are they in SL (Standard body length). C. paleatus like most Corys will live a long time given good conditions and diet. To actually be able to determine their age would be a virtual impossibility.

Yes, I didn't express myself very clearly. What I meant was, at least how old would they have to have been (minimum age) to have achieved full growth at the time of purchase. By full growth, I mean the females were between 2.5 and 3 inches and have not grown since, the males about 2 inches and again have not grown any larger in the last 2 years. Roughly how old would a peppered cory need to be to have reached this sort of size? Of course you can't look at the fish and say 'this cory is x years old' but you might be able to say 'this cory is at least y months old'.
