Whale Pictures

My girlfriend and I went on a whale watching trip today because we got free tickets because last year we saw nothing. Well, they made up for it today! We had 3 different Fin Back whales each come within 100 feet of the boat...one of these whales was easily 65-70 feet in length. On the way home my girlfriend looked at me and said "I didn't think the whale's would be that big"....and that is a direct quote...I couldn't make that up!

I dunno if you'd call these "non-fish photos"! We also saw some Atlantic white-sided dolphins and some large tuna (5-6 feet) feeding...which means jumping a few feet outta the water. I unfortunately was unable to get pics of these.

It's humbling to be in the presence of these massive, graceful animals. I loved it, hell, I love going out even if we dont see any...I love the ocean!

Neat pictures. I saw some orcas once while on a dinner cruise. I will never forget it.

I love whale watches, I was on one a couple years ago, and got a lot of pictures, but that was with a regular camera and scanning is a pain.
Beautiful pictures though.
