Whaht Type Of Pleco?

I bought these this week, ane man in the shop when @I asked how much they were said they were common plecos, and whwn I asked another lady to get me some out she said they were another type of pleco, but i cant remember what... I know these pics aren;t very good, but can anyone tlel what they are please?

Thank you, I was hoping it was! My aunty just got one in her 6ft tank thats about 7inches long.. it looked great on the side of the tank!

expect both of them to get to a foot long in approx 1 year. Hope you've got a big tank lined up for yourself

tis a common plec, Commons and gibbys can get to 18"+ with in 2-3 years

Yes I expect I'll have a bigger tank soon, this is already the 3rd upgrade... I only started keeping fish last month, and wasn't planning on upsizing at all ha!! I'd have a tank as big as my living room built into the wall if I was any good at DIY!
But, If for any reason I'm not able to get a bigger tank before they out grow this one, I do have homes for them to go to untill I do get one

Oh blimey...

I was mis-sold a common plec and while I knew he/she is gonna get too big for my tank, I didn't realise it would be that soon!!




Mind you, in the two months that I've had him/her, the little squirt has grown from a cutesie 2" to a rather more portly 4"...
