so in the fish world, do rival gangs clash??? I've got 6 Bronze Cory's ( Corydoras aeneus ) coming, for a tank, that already has a couple Spot tail Algae Eaters ( Crossocheilus reticulatus ) in it... just for balance I thought I should add a couple more of the Algae Eaters, so their group sizes match up... just making sure I don't end up with a gang turf fight in the middle of the tank??? anyone mix Cory's with non Cory bottom fish, of similar sizes???

The Cory group only has a few uncommon members who get into private property. Most shoaling bottom oriented fish stay chill, though the wrong gang will mess up natural behaviour and may cause one species to get more food that the others.

It's more shoalers and nasty loners like red tailed sharks that have problems, or any substrate oriented dwarf Cichlid pairs. You don't need even sized groups.

You’re doing good, I remember the play, but did not remember the gang names

I thought I was going to see a "rumble" today, as I added a small gang of Cory's... almost immediately, the biggest spot tail flew out from his hiding spot, to one of the still acclimating Cory's... but I think he was just happy to see another small fish... after adding the Cory's I had to go back to work, before the Cory's had a chance to group up... none of the barbs seemed threatening, so as long as there was no "rumble", they should be fine until I get home...
