..for just $35 AUS yesterday!

Should my tank with a UG filter and the help of an internal box filter be able to keep up nicely with 8 neons and a pair of swordies? i was just thinking about 8 neons and a pair of something.. :D but i must have 8 neons  . they seem to contrast with black pebbles at the bottom along with some side-growing plants.

should be fine when cycled.

I have about 40 fish in my 15g, and hardly have a prob.

(would'nt recomend that many fish in a small tank to anyone though.)

By 'pair' of swords do you mean a male and female? If so.. be prepard for lots of babies! I don't have any swords, but if they're anything like mollies and platies you need more than one female for each male. Otherwise he'll stress her out too much with his constant 'harassment' :p . I lost my favourite platy that way :-(

~edited for bad spelling

Swords get big when compared to plattie and guppies, adn the resulting fry will also be big and will grow into big adults. If it is all the same to you, I would suggest guppies or platties (though the guppies might get nipped by the tetras, though it shouldn't be too bad).
