Lost my big parrot fish last night, although we have had her for quite a number of years now :(

So now I have one clown loach and another small fish in a 5ft tank. We havent replaced fish as they have died, and I think its around 5 years we have now had this tank.

We need to get another sofa in the lounge, so I have decided to sell it all up and do just that.

I'm not sure what its worth, so heres what I have;

Total size including the base is 62" x 53" x 20"
Tank size (1CM glass) 60" x 24" x 18"

Comes with EX1200 filter, and a EX600 or EX700 filter (can't remember the model as not used at the moment), 2 heaters, 2 aerators, Substrate, logs, massive aquarium safe stones, the fluorescent tube and starter and some spare stuff.

Its still an established filter, although due to the amount of fish in there now, it may need the nitrites building back up a bit. Happy to empty and give the fish to a LFS. The tank empty is HEAVY, and I think it will weigh nearly half a ton when filled.

Heres a pic of the base and tank, it was custom made by me and a friend using 3x2 MDF, every piece screwed together, as I couldnt find anything that would be strong enough. Was going to varnish but never got round to it...

Why don't you try and find a good home with friends of his kind for your lonely clown loach? Bigger ones cost a bit too.

I would take it, but it may not make the trip across the sea :lol:

Beautiful tank!! you would be best putting it on Ebay, the tanks seem to be going for quite a bit on there at the moment, we keep looking for a cheap larger tank to replace on of the juwel 400l tanks for the rescue fish. Shame I am not closer (although only Birmingham) I would have taken your clown, he/she could go with one of my two groups depending on size, looks like the other fish in the picture is a ruby shark :)

Shark! yeah thats what the other one was.

I actually work in Birmingham, but I get the train and would prolly look a bit wierd carrying a fish LOL

Hhaha,,, Fedex? :lol:

Fedex gives them wings. :lol: There is a classified section on this forum. If you advertise it you may find someone with a nice home locally.
I would take it, I would even pay for postage, but that will be a big stress for the poor clown.

That will be way too expensive. Although I don't mind a 5th tank. :lol:
