Weird stuff on my glass

can someone tell me what this is on my glass!!! I randomly saw it today never have seen before!!

It’s either detritus worms or planaria. If they are sliding along the glass and have a pointed arrow shaped head then it’s planaria and you want to get rid of it. If it’s swimming in the tank and has no distinct head then it is detritus and nothing to worry about. Detritus worms are usually caused by overfeeding. Cut down on feeding and they will get under control. I have never had planaria in my tanks but I understand they can hitchhike their way in on new fish and plants. They divide and populate quickly. I have heard of planaria traps but don’t know how well they work. I believe there’s a product called “No Planaria” that also kills them. Cleaning and gravel vac also helps. Wish I could tell you more but someone with more experience with planaria should come along. Good luck!

Do a 75% water change and gravel clean the substrate every day for a week. This will remove the uneaten food and gunk from the substrate and should encourage the worms back into the substrate.
Make sure any new water is free of chlorine/ chloramine before it is added to the tank.
