Weird pleco

a friend of mines Common Pleco grabs all the shrimp and takes it back to his "lair" before some of his other fish have a chance to grab some....I didn't know they hoard, anyone else witness this with their fish?

I haven't seen this with plecos, but my pictus cat does it with pellets

My common pleco swims upside down on the water surface during feeding time and wacks all of the plattys and barbs out of the way with his tail

most of our plecs do it with prawns...

and 2 of them even do it with weighted cucumber

Our Common Plec who lives with our Nile Puffer steals her prawns from under her beak and takes than to a hole in the sand he's dug to eat them at his leisure.

Sometimes we have to protect Martha with a stick so that she gets enough to eat before the Plec (Stewart) takes over!
