Yesterday I noticed that I had Ich on a few fish. Not bad though, just 2-4 spots on a few fish.
I removed my snail and prepped for treatment. Lowered the water slightly for when the temp was raised. It's sitting at 28 right now. I also added jungle ick guard.

It worked overnight the fish lost the spots.
Do I add any more? Or that was enough and keep doing water changes. I was told 2 w/c a week by LFS. I trust you guys though ...

I was happy that the spots were gone but now two of my fish have a weird marking on there back.
There's nothing that they could of really rubbed against to injure itself (just a piece of bogwood).

nevermind fish died
Aw man, and it was a beautiful one too, a platy, isn't it?
When you put him/her into the aquarium, did you put the bag into the water / added water from aquarium etc. before releasing the fish? Unless it was an Ich started inside the aquarium, in which case idk maybe temp was too low or something got into the aquarium.

Yes was a red wag
Yes I floated the bag and slowly added aquarium water. Didn't add any of that water to my tank, etc.

Before adding this fish.
I tried adding 2 mollys but they were so aggressive and tried nipping my other fish. They went back the next day!

The same day we brought home a mickey mouse female and this reg wag male.
Woke the next morning and the mickey started pine coning slightly. Took it back to the store.

Exchanged for a new mickey mouse (healthy)

My molly (not the ones I took back), had a few spots oin it. The pleco had 2-3 spots.

Temp was set at 26-27
It now is at 30 to do a heat treatment of ich

Sorry about ur loss :(. what about the other fish?

Since stopping jungle ich and treating with heat.
The pleco has like 2 spots left on it. The rest of the fish have no spots.
It's only on day 2 of high heat.
