hello people,

ive finally managed to get my mum to agree to a marine tank and its half set up, ive got all parts working at the moment except i need a overflow box/wier ( no i cant drill the tank) and i need it asap as ive got 10kg of live rock on the way tuesday. its 4/5 full of salt water(rock will easily displace the remanding and more) as ive got no where else to store it bar the tank, and tbh i thought i could source one sooner.
does anyone know where i could get one from in th uk it has to to be as small as possible ideally the end width of 6" as theres a removable slot that big, i might go price up the cost of sheet acrylic tomorrow but i know its quite expensive.

so any links would be greatly appreciated.

hopefully after ive found a overflow box ill start a journal.

they seem pretty simple to make, but im not sure how well they hold the siphon if the power goes out

yeh i found melevsreef, so i got myself a sheet of 1/8th Arcylite. but i need to find some of my dads tools as i managed to snap it when using a hand saw. thanks
