Weeping Moss

Am i right in thinking that weeping moss doesn't root onto wood or stones. So i should use fishing line rather than string to tie it down. Plus does anyone have any tips on growing it as i've heard it can be difficult to get it to 'weep' properly.

I don't have any experience with weeping moss but I do have some with Java and Christmas mosses. Yes, I recommend you use monofilament fishing line as opposed to string or twine. It's not as visible and less likely to intorduce anything unwanted to your tank.
