HI , had a small tank doing nothing, 18"l x 10"w x 10"h , 20ltrs(?),
I have a "pair" of Neolamprologus kungweensis in the 4' 190ltr, they have grown quite a bit since I first got them. They seem to have been getting friendly but the "dwarf sumbu" always manage to evict them from there nest :grr:
So here goes, started by cleaning up the tank...

Bought a small tub of this stuff, had previously used balck on the 95ltr and it worked fine, this stuff didn't like the silicone at the edges and the glass must have still been "greasy", lots of horrible reticulation :grr:

Didn't think it looked "to bad" when done (?)

Syphoned some sand from the other tanks, added some shells and fish . . . :good:

And here's a crappy wee video . . .
Neolamprologus kungweensis

They look more settled alredy, swimming with fins erect, done a bit of burrowing in the sand, looking nice, will add some Java fern, the lighting is not the best (understatement) but I think the fish look better against the light substrate, fingers crossed they get some peace now.....

Cheers for looking, Sean :good:

What's the filter?
Just a wee daft sponge job, run by an air pump, it should have a vertical tube to draw the water flow though, it's all temporary, getting replaced later in the week by one of these. .

JAD make the first sponge filter, they are pretty good but obviously can be quite noisey being air powered. Ideal for fry tanks and small fish.

Looks as if they have settled in pretty quickly, depsite having no other fish to act as dithers or reassurance. Fingers crossed for some youngsters in the near future!:good:

Male been burrowing, female pulling tufts of java moss and dumping it next to the shells, fingers crossed :hyper:

What a great little setup!! :good: :good:

They look very settled in a short space of time, I`ll keep my fingers crossed that you have the patter of tiny fins again very soon :D

It's nice seeing them in there own wee tank, once I'm "organised" I'll try get them something with a bit more footprint, but they seem fine :good:

They certainly look happy in there, I'm sure they'll get down to it now they are secure and aren't being pushed out anymore! Shame the background went a bit icky but you're right, it looks alright from the front!

Dunno what the paint reacted with
It's a nice contrast from the 6' and water changes will certainly be easier on me  It's definately a more laid back tank than the Roma240 with all the Cyp fry dashing everywhere and Multies spitting sand everywhere
You'll be looking forward to the 6x2x2, I bet you either change all your stocking or add a few more :good:
More digging tonight and all the moss has been moved, fingers crossed :hyper:

Maybe the temp variation from inside the tank to outside (like condensation) has caused it?
