i bought 2 weather loach about 3 weeks ago and noticed after i bought them that they had some cotton wool like patchs i no its fungus as i keep loads of fish but the weather loach are baffling me. the tank is a 50 litre hospital tank and has been running for a 7 months i do 25 to 30 % water changes and have used protazin to try and combat the problem but it didnt work so then i tryed fungus and finrot by interpet and that wont work eva. i have used both of these products on other fish and they have worked.
i was hoping that someone could tell me an effective way of treating them?
the fungus on one has spreed like wild fire the other has a small patch.

Is your substrate gravel? These guys love to bury themselves in the gravel. If your gravel has sharp edges, they will keep getting fungus and possibly a bacterial infection. As far as how to treat the fungus, try the emergencies section. Wilder is very good and can give you the best advice.
