So today I was supposed to go to the LFS with my little girl but with her having Chicken Pox this forces me to go on my own. I already had a group of 5 Lyretail Anthias reserved but when I got there I discovered there were 6 in the group so I was offered the 6 for £90 which is a steal. Unfortunately there were other customers there, when they were gone and after the obligatory coffee and cigarette outside with the owner (it's a small shop generally not lots of people there at once), I had now spent too much time there and a lovely green tip torch coral was waving at me, so I came home with that as well, 5 heads for £35, again not bad. So both tanks have had a new addition today right now the torch is on my reef plate until I can settle on its permanent home and the Anthias are trying their best to prove they are not a shoaling fish.

And pictures? Where are they?

Glad you were able to get a present. But, yes, you are weak-willed.

I was after a torch and a hammer for the reef but wasn't planning on that outlay today, but he had 5 lovely ones the other day and this was the last one left. Figured my wife has been spending on Jamie Oliver kitchen stuff so I justified it like that, and figured that an Anthias for a tenner was a good deal (had been offered 5 for £80) and when one turns male I will have 5 girlies and odd numbers are so much better than even ones.

As for pictures I have some but I can't find my card reader to transfer them onto the computer, creeping round as poorly daughter and wife both asleep, and we have squeaky floorboards.

I love the lyretail! Lovely fish! WHat a good deal you got too! Can't wait to see the pictures!
Also torch's are ncie too! It always pays to use one lfs and get friendly when you get deals like that!

So demanding but I like to please.

Couple of the torch one last night when open, but my lights blow out the photographs and I couldn't be bothered to set it up properly, also just fed the tank so water a bit messy looking. Second shot taken this morning shows its true colour.

Yep the chicken pops are beaten temperature back to normal appetite back and no new spots, just lots of scabby ones. Hopefully we can get her into her new school for story time tomorrow, will be her first visit, hope it doesn't freak her too much.

Thanks for asking :)

Yeah right who said they were schooling fish. No it's not that bad have 5 swimming together and one seems obsessed with the Regal Tang, Emperor is bored of chasing them now. Just waiting to see who turns into the male, might try and paint little numbers on them and we can run a sweep stake.

Nice finds, sometimes it pays to be weak-willed. LOLOL
