WCMM - eat cucumber?

hey all-
ive got 17 white cloud mountain minnows which are quite small still... they are actually feeders at the lfs...but they grow up so pretty i couldnt resist

can i feed them cucumbers? right now im just feeding flakes...

Veggies like cucumbers and zuccini are fine for those kind of fish. I believe you need to kind of cook them first. I'm not 100% about that though.

hey all- i just boiled them for a few minutes and put come plant weights through them so they sink... the minnows seem to like them and in the other tank, the molly seems to like it...strangely, neither the ottos nor the SAE's seem to be interested...yet
