I'VE got a 25watt power glo single bulb for my 33gallon would it be wise to get another 90watts or is that to much .. HELP ME PLEASE .
Most of my plants needs high light. .. thanx
 
If u can fit another 90 watts of lighting into ur hood then yes, that would then take u over the 2Wpg minimum lighting requirement :)
 
But controllers are quite expensives (tubes too) :(
 
When you consider the cost of Mercury Vapour and Metal Halide lighting that you may require for a deep tank, T5 tubing is the cheapest option...

I have just paid £250 for 220Watts (T5), as opposed to £800 for 450Watts (Metal Halide)... I have the new Arcadia Illuminaire System. 3 weeks in use, and my plants are pushing their way out of the tank... well they would if I let them !
