Hello all, hope you are all well,
Our 2 black mollies have what looks like white spot(fuzzy cottonwool type things attached to them), we have read that in order for these pesky things to fall off before treatment you have to increase water temperture by a few degrees. our heater is set at 22c and the thermometer reads 25c,water stats are good. My question is if we have to turn the temp up to allow the spots to fall off, will the rise in temp affect our other fish?? we have fantailed guppies(4), 6 Zebra danios,2 para plecs, 8 neon tetras plus the 2 poorly mollies. Many thanks in advance

Whitespot looks like grains of salt covering the fish.
What you described doesn't sound like whitespot as it is fuzzy and cottonwool-like.
You might want to post in the emergency section of the forum, giving as many details about the tank, fish and symptoms as you can.
