Hi guys,

I recently noticed the tank in my water is slightly green I think?

If you compare the wall you see through the tank and beside the tank, they aren't the same colour. Is this normal?

I just did a 25% water change and 50% changes weekly. It still looks the same before and after. Could this be due to clogged filter media? The media I use is filter wool and I rinse it weekly (though I can't get all the stuff out of the media).

have you got a nitrate test kit? if so what is the reading?

looks fine. alot of water is coloured. some by bacteria in the water or algae.

Ah I see. So far there isn't much algae 'cept on the edges of the gravel.

Does this mean as long as the water isn't cloudy or has particles floating around, it should be fine?

From what i see. yes. this happens with me aswell. some glass are slightly tinted. when you look out a car window its lighter than looking through a car window

It's the float glass, it has a blue tinge to it, it's normal.

It's alot cleaner looking then my water lately (stats are fine though), it even made me thirsty lol.
