my fish tank 5ft by5ft 100+ gallons water and the water stinks foul, ive done a few water changes ,test strips read normal have a sand bottom, losing fish fast HELP

Carbon sachets in the filters can help to reduce smells and funny colours in the water...

What all did you test for? Did you test nitrates also?

Have you been diligent with your wc's all along?

Nitrates, while not as harmful as ammonia or nitrites, can have this affect if too high.

It would but that would also cause ammonia levels to rise.

Well, looking back, we don't know what tests were done so you could very well be correct. I shouldn't assume that was one of the tests performed.
