The ph controllers don't work well I'm afraid. I would try to get some fo it out during the water changes.

Hi, drained water down to 2in from bottom have refilled much clearer now  hope ph is ok after test cheers.

What is the pH; in the tank before using the proper pH, and from the tap?

What fish do you have?

Normally it's best not to try and change the pH of your water; it usually goes back to where it was very quickly, and that means fluctuating pH levels; much worse for fish then one that's stable, even if it's not exactly what your fish like.

Hi, ph in tank before adding proper ph 7.0 was a very close match to 7.6 it was my guppies around seventy also around 25 young guppies+ my pictus sharks that died ,i have a few plecos, hillstream loaches, gouramis  + silver dollars  which survived

95 guppies died of ich ?

Hi, proper ph 7.0 will cause your tank to spike in ph if you do not monitor it. So it's best that you find fish that are accustomed to your tap water. This is coming from experience. Lost a few fish from this.

Massacre!

Did you treat the Ich? If so what with? But 95 wow I would be thinking twice about keeping fish after that!
Anyways moving on I'm not a fan of chemical treatment unless I really have to to save fish but the idea of finding a stable/constant PH is better all around than spiking PH up and down which is more stressfull for the family of fish.
