hey guys
just did a 30% water change on my tank and did a test just to make sure things were going ok and these were the results:

Amonia: 0.25 ppm

Nitrate: 10-20 ppm

These results are pretty worrying to me. How can i fix these paramiters? I'm no expert so i wanted to ask here before taking the next step. Any advice appreciated.

Thx

P.S my tank is cycled, but only has been for about 2 months

If you're getting ammonia levels that high, your tank isn't cycled. Or it may have "uncycled" somehow. Did you change the filter media recently? Did you add any fish? Was there a power outage? Is there anything unusual that's happened to the tank recently?

Also, do you have a nitrIte test kit? I'd be curious to see what levels that's at right now too...

Regardless, keep up with the water changes to keep the ammonia down. Treat it just like a cycling tank until everything is back to normal.
