Hey there fellow water keepers,

Just approaching the end of cycling and measuring water parameters but have found something which seems a little unusual.
At present NH3: 0ppm, NO2: 0.025ppm, NO3: 5-10ppm and PO4: 0.5-1.0ppm. It is three weeks tomorrow since it started cycling and for about the last week and half I placed a chuck (tennis ball sized) of chaetomorpha in the tank. What I find strange is that the water parameters look so good, I would expect the phosphate and nitrate to be higher but they're not. Just to re iterate this is uncured rock and was out of water for at least 24 hours. What do people think??

Regards

pretty good reading for the PO4!, you leaving the cheato in there, or are you going to use some rowaphos to assist? if it were me i would try and get the phosphate down to 0.01>, but in new tank its hard,
