hey hey
i can get a pump for 12 quid at my lfs or a gravel cleaner for 15 quid
or should i stop wasting money and use a jug and bucket??
but im thinking that using a pump will disturb the fish less??

sooo pump or jug??

A jug and bucket wont be enough, as you need to physically remove the debris from the gravel/sand. This requires a gravel cleaner, so you're best opting for the gravel cleaner.

a gravel cleaner that works as a pump as well is worth the money.
:good:

great stuff
thanks peeps i will get one this afternoon

A cheap gravel cleaner- basically a plastic head attached to a syphon- shouldn't set you back more than 3 or 4 quid. You move it up and down to get the suction going, then it sucks the water out for you (keep the other end in a bucket!) and you hoover the gravel at the same time.
