Ok. First i turn off the filters, pumps, heater, lights...Then i vacume(if needed) the gravel while draining the water, now when i add the water back into the tank, do i have to dechorineize it when the tank is full of new water or do i have to dechorineize it before i add the water into the tank?

IMO, it doesn't make much a difference but it is technically better to do it before

If you are adding water with a bucket, you may as well add it to the bucket. You will have an easier time keeping track of if you added it or not.

I add it before - that way the water conditioner has time to work on the new water before it's in the tank. However, once I have finished my water change I also add a drop to the tank - just for luck!

I use a python, filling directly from the faucet. I add about half to the tank just as I start adding water and the other half just before I cut the water off. But as already stated, I don't think it really matters as long as you add it.

I always add mine in the bucket before the water goes into the tank.
Im not sure how long it would take the chlorine and chlormime to finish off the good bacteria in the filter but my guess is not very long -_- So it would be logical to add it before the water goes in the tank.

I add mine in the bucket. A colleague as a 6-ft tank and adds water directly from the tap via hose and occasionally adds treatment, has never experienced problems.

Dechlorinator works instantly so if you're using buckets, just fill them up, squirt some in, swirl the water once or twice with your hand and it's ready to add. You really don't need to even swirl it around. As I said, it kills chlorine on contact. I mainly swirl the water to make sure the temp is the same from top of bucket to bottom.

But for bigger tank it is impossible to add conditioner to ur bucket first. Like my current 150g last weeken when I do water change I was force to just pure the tap in with the right temperature. You can try to load a bucket of water and treat it first before putting them in but I'm telling you once u have bigger tank it is impossible to do that you be dead after you put back 40% of 150gallon tank water with bucket trust me lol. And my clown seem ok even I put condition after. So I guess there isn't much difference. Before or after.
