Water Changes In Ponds....

I was just wondering how people do water changes in outdoor ponds

in my pond the water just evaporates by about 20%
so i fill up the pond with water that i collect in a water silo
..

alot easier than the tanks

i flush the filter (my filter runs by gravity) and undo the drain. i then let about 250 gallons out (about 10%). i then put in the declorinator 5 mins before filling up to the level needed.

in winter i only change a max of 5% every opther week. currently im changing 5% every week
