Water changes in 1g

I change 100% in my 1 gallons and I do it twice a week.

I was wondering what if I should cease doing that, although I've never had any problems.

I do 100% in all the one gallons - every other tank has a filter. If I can find a tiny filter I like for the 1gallons, I would stop changing 100%.

I change the 1 gals 100% every 4 days. I feed high protein foods, and the ammonia will just start to show in 6 days. Barely, but I don't like it, so I change every 4 days. Here's a pic of a small filter I made..
