Watched Topics Becoming Auto-Unwatched

I have noticed that if I *do not participate in a topic I am watching/there are no replies made to the topic for a while/some other voodoo*, at some point the topic disappears from my list of watched topics. If I then try to add it back, that just doesn't work. The time period for this to happen is under two weeks.

Is this a fixable/known bug?

I've marked the same topic three times but each time I check "watched topics" it tells me that I'm not watching any.

The forum software was set for removing the subscription after 5 days of inactivity in the topic subscribed to. I set it for 0, which basically removes the subscription pruning function, subscribed topics should now continue for as long as you like.
