Its a video of a tank, someone took a mouse and feed it to theyre piranhas;
I was going through youtube when I saw this, I felf it was horrific and wrong.
But in a way I didnt feel so bad, after thinking people feed snakes rats.

I think that's horrible - the mouse was obviously terrified. Most people, I believe, feed dead mice to their snakes (although I could be wrong) and I think it would be much better to feed dead mice to pirranhas. Kill them humanely just beforehand if pirranhas need fresh blood (I don't know anything about them).

That film is just for sadists.

I'm reporting that to youtube..or do something. Mice, even dead mice do no good to a pirhanas diet. Pirhanas dont need live food at all and can even be peaceful if well fed. Thats worse than the goldfish feeding video where the fish head is still breathing at the end.

What's even worse than something like that, because it's a slow suffering and miserable life, are people who keep too many fish in an aquarium, or 1 single fish in too small of aquaria, don't feed correctly, don't practice good husbandry skills etc. You see that all over forums. Why don't you get them banned for it while you're at it.

I know what you mean, I guess in some kind of way they found it amusing. Id rather feed my cat a rat then do that... And I wouldnt even do that to a living creature eanyways-

I'm sure everyones opinion is the same... if anyone thought this was acceptable, half the board would flame them.
Personally, I disagree with the feeding of mice to any fish. The hair and mammal fat just really isnt good for the fish or the water chemistry. People sacrifice the wellbeing of their pets to watch them use their natural instincts. I'm not against feeder fish, but most people use them for the wrong reasons.

lol this is not the first thread like this, if you go into members aquariums and such you will find this has been posted many timea and got the same response many times

you cant stop it, people will keep doing it, if you scroll down that page their are a few different ones, which means there are more than one person doing it

i wont do it, no one else on the forum wont do it

so there is no point of posting it

if i wanted to see that i would go looking for it
