i know for freshwater whenever you do water changes you can use that water for various things like watering plants or whatnot, but can you do anything with saltwater? i suppose i could evaporate the saltwater to extract the freshwater out of it but that would take forever .

so any suggestions?

^^ could you evaporate the water and re use the salt thats left over? or is that what you meant :)

I use it as new water into a LR curing tub (I like to have a bit of extra rock on hand should I need to rearrange things quickly). Of course, I don't really have any uses for the water coming back out of the curing tub, but it at least reuses the tank water once.

actually i meant finding a way to collect the evaporated water and using that since it would be close to pure. that would be a crazy project though lol

hahah yea i got that idea from watching man vs wild, that's why i suggested evaporating the water  . it's just the concept of it seems a bit over ambitious
