wash your hand first and then do the tank

Hands can have hand cream on them; oil from working with machinery; food from cooking things which fish are sensitive to and so on.

I always wash my hands in plain soap before doing things in the tank - and put hand cream on when I've finished.

I've been using nitrile gloves for a while now. A great way to reduce the introduction of anything into a tank or vice versa

anyone do observation and know that your hand is dirty or your hand produce dirt out of your hand, just wash your hand and do the tank later, 100% fix!!! would make your fish better.
after I clean the aquarium I run the glass cleaning brush under 140deg water and put it in the microwave on high for one minute reduce the possibility of introducing anything that would propagate on the surface.

Definitely wash your hands AFTER working in your aquarium. There are bacteria and other nasties you don't want in you. In fact not to long ago a woman died after getting a rare bacterial infection from her aquarium.

You mean "sweat"

moisture exuded through the pores of the skin.

you have to understand that dirt from your hands is not the only way you can contaminate the aquarium water. everything you let contact the water has the potential to contaminate.

I legit laughed at this, thank you! Hopefully it was the language barrier...

Just wear gloves if you're concerned. I wear rubber gloves all the time as I get eczema so would rather not have them too wet, and also have frogs which can transmit salmonella. I still wash my hands after even though I wear gloves lol.
