Okay, SO, once i get the outside pond set up I will put the two goldfish out in it but fdirst.. Do i need a heater in it? Or can they stand severly gold water.... Liek during the winter... what will happen?

I've had regular goldfish in ponds for years. They do not need special care, they behave just like koi. You may need smaller pellet food for them though...

I've had a goldfish pond outside for years now. Feed them a couple times a week Rain does the water changes , Filtered about 9 months out of the year (homemade job) and off for the winter. I just let it freeze over every winter and there are WAY more fish than I ever put in there now and new ones every spring.

Even added an upper level that gets full of tadpoles for the summer as well. Just make sure its deep enough it won't freeze all the way to the bottom (Im in WA state as well... simmilar weather to the UK

amusing side story... Tradition was that the last one of each batch of feeder fish went free... theres 4-5 generations in there now..
