Hi there,

Take a look at thegreenmachine and check out Sulawesi wood.

I use it, because it has nice spindly bits, and moss seems to love growing on it, and its pretty cheap! (compared to redmoor and the like, and will displace less water in your small tank)

Hope that helps!

Did a search on their site for that wood and it came back with "nothing found" :(

Cheers for that nurglepuss that looks ideal, does it leach tannins like some of the other woods?

Cheers

Hi there Jon,

Nope it seems pretty tanin free, and very slow to decompose too.

I've had a piece for over a year now with java moss attached, and uts great! I'm having some more for Christmas :)

Good choice :)

The other plant is fake! ;p not a bad deal from petsat home, its about £8-9 but you get a massive amount, and the fish like it for shade (thats just a small portion I stripped down) ;p. Its nice to hide some equipment (I did try using real plants, but they have a habit of getting sucked into things!)
