Hi, I am after some Java Fern in a bit of a hurry.

Must be nice stuff with plenty of rhizome/black crampons. (photo would be good)

Prefer to get some from a trusted member of this forum than pay LFS prices or eBay (last lot from eBay was rubbish, just leaves  )

I have Paypal/Beer tokens or whatever you like :hey:

Oh hi.

I would like several seperate bits of about medium size (ie, no huge leaves) with say 3-4 leaves on each. What I would really like is that crinkly leafed type but I don't want to be fussy
I have a load, and I mean a load of artificial moon rock SEE HEREwhich I am using for a dwarf cichlid set up. I want a bit of greenery in there too but I know normal plants may get dug up so I reckon on tying some java fern to some of the rocks.

What you thinking there?

I know you want to try and get this off a member, but if you can't,Pets At Home are doing 3 pots of Tropica plants for £9.
I got a Java Fern and Windelov (the crinkly fern!) at the weekend. The Java was easily split into 3 seperate plants, could have split it even further, didn't split the Windelov, but it's a very good clump that again, could easily have split into 3 or 4 plants.
Well worth it.(Very well developed roots)

Thanks for the 'heads up' on that :good: (not many people mentioning Pets@Home in a good light!)

May call in and take me a look ( :shifty: don't tell anyone :shifty: )

Aye but it's Tropica Plants, they should be the same wherever you get them (unless they kill them!).

After some of the same amongst other things, so may pop in there too :)
