Wanted: Cheap External Filter

Hi there,

I'm a postgrad student on a budget, and am living away from my home (and my Mrs ), and have really started to miss my fish. The university have provided me with a 2ft aquarium, and lab space, and I have some spare equipment I can get sent up, but I really would like to get hold of a decent, external filter for as cheap as possible (I don't really want to use an internal, as I want to maximise internal tank space).

Anyway, if anyone is getting rid of such a device, in good working order, for a reasonable price, please let me know!

where are you? I've got a spare eheim external doing nothing which you can have for very little if you're near by.
