I know it doesn't really help as you're miles away, but they have some stunning (around) 6" ones at Wholesale Tropicals for £35-£40
They do courier postage @ £15 if that helps

We managed to get ours from Maidenhead Aquatics. If they have one near you and don't have them in stock, they may be able to order one in.

no I don't actually have one because I have too many plecs already. But I've been very tempted on a few occassions because Wholesale Tropicals in central London often have some stunning large ones at excellent value for money (in my opinion).

how central in london, parents live pettswood, bromley way and brothers is in dartford. is it possible to pop in on one off my visits to them

Have been to shirley aquatics xingumike, was'nt too impressed seemed like a battery farm for fish. but i will give them a call it's the least i can do to give at least one fish a good home.

no mate, just another forum i go on (a pleco one someone mentioned it) do you know sweet knowle aquatics nr stratford that comes very very highly recommended from a friend of mine, try them if its close enough

Paws For Thought york Road Leeds had a couple at the weekend.

they are neer the centre of leeds, and are a very good shop
