Vivarium With Newts And Others?

Was thinking of what to do with my 10 gallon if i got this cool 1950s aquarium tv stand and thought about doing a room temp tank with some Chinese Fire Belly Newts or another variety of newt....was wondering though...anyone ever kept them with anything like white cloud mountain minnows, or Florida flagsish?
my concern is the fish nipping at the newt or the newt jut eating the fish....idk any thoughts?

also any other newts that would be cool?

Fish and newts are a no no. The newts will eat the fish eventually. Best to keep them alone. I have three chinese fire bellied newts. I did have mine with shrimp but they were more scared of the shrimp than the shrimp were of the newts (the shrimp would be in the same food bowl eating the blood worms!!).
