Looks complicated compared to most DIY kits. No idea as to if it will work, but it will be fun to see what happens. Would be one alternative to pressurised for large tanks I assume if it works, as you'll be able to set the output of it by varying your input voltage I guess?

All the best

the principal is correct i think

Diagram needs to be clearer.

Your electrolysing CH3COOH, then allowing the gas to float into a sodium hydroside and pottasium hydroxide solution to create CO2, correct?

How are you going to regulate pressure on the system?

i`m after pressurised co2 system as a FE or something like that but do not wish to spend £100+ for one and they are really rarely to be sold separately when someone is getting rig off tropical tank etc.

yes the idea is to use regulated power supply or some kind of potentiometer to adjust voltage to desirable co2 output.

my friend already done one couple of years ago and I will have a go, apparently co2 will last 1month @9V from 0.75l of 10% vinegar 9 (he get 1bps), need to check if that true if it is that's my problem solved hence bottle of vinegar is £1 or so

its NaOH or KOH

There is no pressure regulator as such apart from higher voltage will create more co2

the second bottle with NaOH will be clearing co2 out of any left vinegar fumes. #

I think the design could really gain from a well calibrated spring loaded safety valve where it released the CO2 only once sufficient pressure is present to push the spring back and open the oulet to the CO2 diffuser.

quite good idea

will need to sort something out

but first i need to cheque how regularly it will release bubbles :) it might be that there is no need for valve.
