hi there

ill be keeping tropical fish.

which one would you recommend?

i know the ViaAqua doesnt come with a heater but Rekford does but really dont care, i can always buy one.

also im a bit confused about this ViaAqua and Aqua one brand, are they same company or different companies?

thank you

From what I've been told the rekord filters aren't the best. Correct me if I'm wrong :good:

The juwel filters are ok i suppose but it would be better to go with an external filter or if you want internal filters, take out the black box and use a fluval 4+ or one of the filters from the Eheim aquaball series.

I'm an AquaOne man through and through :good:

I have a 850 & 380

thanks for replies guys, i think Aqua one looks better as well, so i think im gonna go with aqua one, the only thing is that the website im buying from says ViaAqua AR620, is this same as AquaOne 620? i read somewhere that aquaone one is the new name for via aqua, is this right? thanks

I've only known them as AquaOne. They are just around the corner from me in Romsey!

Looking at the AR620 from Viaaqua and the Aqua One I would say that they are the same tank. It could be that Aqua-One are producing these tanks under another name at a lower price too just catch money from a lower budget customer, its not that rare I used too work making Imperial Fires and we would make exactly the same fires in their lower range without the Imperial name in order too hit a bigger market. Its a shame that they dont seem too do anything bigger than the Ar620's though. If you look up on you tube their is a pretty good video of the tank.

4 years resurrection. This is an interesting subject but I doubt the OP is even present on this forum after all that time.
