Very sick molly...

I've also posted this in the livebearer section so sorry to repeat myself but need advice asap.


I've just got home to find that one of my mollies is really huge and is being taunted by the other tankmates - she almost looks like a balloon molly. I've never seen her looking this big even when she's been pregnant before. Any ideas what's up with her? She has got a black spot but she's had it since we've had her - for 5 months!

It is quite possible that she is pregnant or maybe has internal parasites. Is there a way that you could post a photo? You should be able if you search on google to find pictures of other female pregnant mollies to compare yours against.

It could be a successively bigger number of eggs fertilized or she might have fish bloat, if the swelling of size is a symptom of taht disorder.
