One of my rubber eels is still very picky, he is still in his temporary tank. I am trying to get him to eat pieces of night crawlers and I have seen him eat one of them, but that was a week ago. When I put the night crawlers in the tank he completely ignores them. I have tried feeding him during the day and at night, and at night he constantly swims around the tank. Any ideas on how to get him to eat?

Thanks,

Have you tried pre-frozen bloodworms, or maggots? my ones eat those really well (they also eat whole earthworms, and have eaten Fish meant as a clean-up crew in theyre tank before now) also live River Shrimp may be worth trying them on.

I have tried bloodworms and both of them seem uninterested. The one I moved to my 55gal tank loves nightcrawlers and is starting to get a little pudgey. I can't figure out why the other one won't take them as well, at night he flies around the tank as fast as he can in about the middle of the tank. Is this normal, or is my other one just lazy?

Thanks,

Last night i noticed something on his head, it appears he has two white spots. He also shed last night and I'm not sure if the spots are because of him swimming so fast around the tank, and runing into things. Or if they mean something else, any ideas?

Anyone have any ideas yet?

I have to move him out of the temporary tank and to my 15 gal quarantine tank or to the main 55gal tank, and i'm not sure witch tank would be best to put him in for now.

Please answer asap

thanks,
