Venezuelan Black Corys

Got these stunnas today labelled as Venezuelan Black Corys i purchased 4 and they were 5.95 each he said he had imported them nice looking fish and complement the fry tank great

I have one that looks like its possibly a female but im unsure its alot bigger than the other 3 hopefull their will be at least one female amonst them and the rest males, they really like their new tank and ive just treat them to some bloodworms so hopefully ill get them conditioned nicely and i should be able to see if i have any little eggs poping up will get some better pics later.

They're some nice cory's there. Interesting to get all black cory's rather than patterned. Good luck with the breeding.

yeah im just conditioning mine at the minite the last eggs all went white so hopefully i can get some eggs that will hatch soon.
im ordering another 6 next week as i think they are a stunning cory.

Thanks guys they are stunning fish and they look magnificent in the tank, they are pretty small at the moment so i think its going to be a few weeks before i see any activity though.

Venezuelan blacks and C. schultzei blacks are not the same. I would be suspicious of IDs from that source.

But they are a marvelous fish whatever they are called! LOL
