looks like my black sailfin has velvet.
clamped dorsal fin, accelerated breathing, and a whiteish glittery film near his gills. he always seems to be the first fish to display symptoms in my tank. maybe he's just not that strong? I'm most likely doing something wrong. overcrowding him or something. I think today I should call up my LFS and ask if they want my dalmation molly fry. should relieve some stress?

anyway, I've dimed the lights around my tank, and I have some old meds from ick, but I don't think they'll help really.....I would treat with aquarium salt for starters, except I have two cories in my tank. I wish I had a quarantine tank, but I don't. just an unheated 1 gallon bowl with snails. :/

advice? treatments? so far I haven't learned much about it.
