veiltail?

I bought a very young male betta which the shop owner had labelled as female because he was so small. He is still growing anh his fins are still developing but I just wondered if it looked like he is just a plain veiltail or something a bit different?

I ask because his fins do look different to my full grown veiltails but he is still growing so he might still get a bit more veily as he gets older.

What do you guys think?

Edit: this is just him swimming around, i didnt think any of him flaring would make much difference...would it?

i c wat ur talkin about, i dont think u can really say till hes a bit old but to me i think he's sum kinda vt hm cross or sumthing. his fins are a bit thicker than the normal vt,
