So I have a couple of these plants growing out of one of my tanks... I noticed these buds lately… yet, I've not seen any with flowers yet, looking around a little on the www. though I did find reference to the fact that the blossoms look kind of like peace lilies

anyone tried this variety in your tanks???
 
It looks like a garden plant that will rot if kept underwater. Having its roots in water and leaves above the water would probably work, but I've never kept it so can't really say yay or nay.
 
yes... these are grown above the water in hang on pots, in my tanks...

right now I only have about 10% of my tanks covered... most are lined in hang on pots, with plants growing out of the tank, that once fully thickened, act like a hedge around the top of the tank, that would stop all but the most determined of jumpers...
