went to one of my lfs today (a&d aquatics) and saw one of these it looked beautiful, anyone got any experience with these?

I saw it in the same place! I just got back from there!

lol small world, theyve got some great marine fish but ive had a bad experience when buying tropical fish from them

did you see the giant dog face puffer? wow

Yeah, I liked the look of the fuzzy dwarf lionfish! But I resisted temptation. Plus they were so busy with the delivery it was hard to get anyones attention.

They have some nice puffers at MG aquatics in Dudley.

They are beautiful fish. I had one about 5 or 6 years ago.

they have teeth if you hadn't noticed and are a predator. My memory is a bit sketchy about feeding/care but I am sure you can find it easily enough. Just do your research before (if) you get it as always.
:good:

i read the info on that link i posted they dont sound very good for a community tank with inverts

ill have to go there next time i need something, for fish ive always liked prestwood pet zone

Its only a small shop, but worth a look.

Prestwood I used for tropicals probably last year. I dont remember their marine stocks at all. Possibly another trip there! Water decor is supposed to be good on the hagley road. I am yet to go there too! Angel aquatics are great for corals! Good livestock most of the time too with some great prices!

prestwood is best for corydoras as they have famous expert ian fuller working there (ive never had trouble with any of there tropicals though), but marine wise they dont have much at all not worth going there just for that unless you live close lol

The valentini puffer, who is actually a Toby is one of the only reef safe puffers, but when i say reef say, i mean does not nip corals - however like all tobys, they will eat your snails etc, infact they need to, to keep their beaks from over growing. A lovely little fish and if you dont mind the thought of him eating your snails and feeding him prawns with shells on, then go for it :good:

Where do you use for your marines?

i dont have my marine tank yet saving and looking for one but ill use prestwood if they have what i want or a&d for anything else

i will try and find somewhere better while im waiting though because theres something about a&d i just dont like

I cant think of any other CLOSE ones, Hollybush? Although hollybush is the parent company of A+D. I shall be taking a trip there soon. Are you after any equipment? I ask as I have a 150W metal halide thats up for sale.
