Uv Sterilizer

Hi

I recently bought a UV Sterilizer after recommendation on here to help with my green water problem.

How long do you leave these on for? It says nothing in the instructions on how long you have it on for. so i have had it on 24 hours a day so far.

Is this bad? lol

Yeah you can leave it on constantly.Once your green water problem has cleared up it would then probably be fine to just turn it off and leave it until you need it again. they are handy to have around if you get an outbreak of ich or other water bourne problem but dont really need to be running 24/7 on a FW tank.
