I was just thinking of buying a UV STERILISER. Which one woul;d you recomend in the UK. fISH R FUN OR V2 Vecton?

Depends if you want something in the tank/sump or not. The FRF ones are self powered from their own powerhead but the whole thing sits in the tank/sump. The vecton ones are passive, in that they need water to be run through them at the correct rate (l/hr or gals/hr).

If you don't run an external filter or run a pump (back from a sump, for instance) then you won't be able to go down the vecton route without doing so.

I ran a vecton 25w on FW tank and it was v good but I coupled that up with the return feed from an external filter. Trying out the FRF 24w version right now.
